Rose’s Onigiri Truck – Durham’s premier nori wrapped rice-ball micro-mobile service platform. Featuring fresh milled Japanese rice, local fish like tuna or crab meat, and fresh local veggies.
Jams Ice Cream Truck – The Triangle’s only soft serve mobile ice cream parlor serving cones, sundaes, milkshakes, and shaved ice made with fresh local ingredients from the Triangle.

Royal Cheesecake & Varieties – Ken and Tamara, have been baking for over 15 years, Ken had a pear and apple tree in his backyard and made pies with his mom, while Tamara obtained her baking skills from her Mississippi born grandmother. Together they make decadent desserts and created Royal Cheesecake and Varieties.

🎶🪕🎙️ Music: Dear Daughter with Zagar of Plough and the Stars
Dear Daughter is the duo of Ron and Courtney Richardson. Ron co-wrote the song She Wants to Be Free, which he heard for the first time on the radio from his college dorm room. He was a part of a few bands in the ’60s and ’70s, including The Electric Love, where he was a vocalist, keyboardist and organist. Courtney is his youngest daughter and began her musical “career” by singing in front of large (adoring) church congregations in the 80s. She and Ron only recently discovered playing music together. They have developed a setlist of covers, a little of everything from Sarah McLachlan to Don Henley. Courtney and her boys are Northgate Park residents, and absolutely love being part of its quirky and loving community.
Zagar is a songwriter and working guitar player out of Hillsborough. He’s currently immersed in his alt-folk project, Plough and the Stars and is a founding member of Taxicab Preacher. Find him at https://linktr.ee/czagar.

Hello, NPNA Neighbors –
Happy May! That means it’s almost time for the annual NPNA picnic meeting, which will be held this year on Saturday, May 16 at 11am. We will have a brief general meeting first, where you’ll hear a brief review of what NPNA does, honor outgoing board members, and vote for the new slate of NPNA officers and board members.
That portion goes very quickly and following that, we will have a picnic! – NPNA will provide barbecue.If you can bring a side dish please let us know what you’ll be bringing using this link.
Feel free to just stop by, or to bring a side or to bring only yourself. We would love to meet new neighbors, see old friends and chat about the neighborhood.

Come out and shop the 20+ households participating in the Spring Northgate Park Neighborhood Yard Sale this Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. to noon! You’ll find books, clothing, decorations, electronics, exercise equipment, games, kitchenwares, kids stuff, plants, tools, toys, vintage and more! Rain date will be Saturday, May 2.
NPNA’s Spring Egg Hunt will be April 11th at 10:00 a.m.
Meet at the large shelter for coffee and donuts. Enjoy games and other activities before the hunt.

New this year, NPNA will host a spring yard sale in addition to the usual fall yard sale! Come out to sell, shop, and explore the neighborhood! All sales take place at your own yard. A map and listing of participants will be shared and advertised.
