What is permaculture? It’s a framework for creating sustainable human habitat and culture. It’s big, it’s broad, it’s fascinating, and it’s very very practical!
Permaculture Teacher and Northgate Park resident Sharon Bagatell will lead this interactive and collaborative workshop. Click here to see the workshop outline. The morning will focus on permaculture garden strategies, and the afternoon will be all about design. We’ll have a potluck lunch in between. We hope you’ll attend the whole workshop, but welcome you to attend any part of it you can.
The workshop will be held in the St. Paul’s Village Playground covered outdoor space, 2700 N. Roxboro, on the corner of Roxboro and Hugo St. in Durham.
You’ll come away with tools to design your own garden, and at the same time, generate possible designs for our community space. And, you’ll get to know neighbors!
The workshop is a “pay what you can” fundraiser for the new community garden. Register now and we’ll send you information on how you can make a contribution.
